Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and has Chinese origins, however her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from the Southern part of the family. Olivia's parents divorced when she was two years old, and she was raised by her stepfather and mother, a member of the United States Air Force. Olivia was raised mostly in Tokyo and Japan. While her family was relocated from Oklahoma and to numerous other areas, it was in Tokyo where she got most of her schooling. In Japan, she acted as an actor in local shows and eventually became an Japanese modeling model. Olivia moved into Los Angeles when her family eventually came back to the United States to follow her ambition to become an actor. She started her acting career by playing a minor part. Her career then gained momentum when she was hired as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed TV show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" as well as "The Daily Nut". She loves surfing, and has been practising since she saw the TV program Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she has earned an black belt in Taekwondo. In the year 2000, at the age of two, of age, her mother remarried. Family members have moved around many times but she lived the majority of her life in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. The University of Oklahoma is where she completed her studies in journalism, with a minor in Japanese as well as drama and dramatic arts.
