Lisa Olivia Munn is a born and raised in Oklahoma City. Kimberly's mother is Chinese and was raised in Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn hails from the American South. Olivia's parents separated at age two. She grew up with her mother who was in the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. The family stayed throughout the world, her principal home is Tokyo, Japan. During that time she was involved in many shows in the area and went on to become an Japanese Fashion model. Olivia was able to move to Los Angeles when her family eventually returned home to her home in the United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. She began her acting career with a small character. Then, her career gained momentum when she was cast as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007, she played Rob Schneider's receptionist. She is the host of G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" along with "Formula D". Her love of surfing has been a constant after the TV show Beyond the Break. She also has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. In the year 2000, when she turned two years older, her mother was married again. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather served. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major, with minors of Japanese and drama art.
