Silk was actually born Silk was born in Fredericton (New Brunswick), Canada. Ilkay Silk was an acclaimed actress, director and producer who taught in St. Thomas University. Her parents were Peter an academic with a reputation for excellence. Anna recounts some of the first moments in her life when she went to watch her mother perform in rehearsals for plays. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. She was in 1997 when she graduated with her bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the beginning: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto for her acting to progress in the month of November 1999. In the following decade, she relocated in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first met during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training workshop in 2007. When they got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of their converted to Judaism.
