Luciana Paoluzzi was born Rome and was raised with her family. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian military officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. It is not known if there are any siblings. She attended a local high school, and after matriculating in 1955 she studied navy engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the sole female in her class. In the following two years, she began her career as a model but that all changed after she landed her first role in acting by chance while she was visiting her father's acquaintance in Rome she had a very small two-line part as a character in Three Coins in the Fountain and that's the point at which it all began. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. After their wedding in 1960, they made a movie together named Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana had the custody of Charles born on 13 June 1961. The couple divorced one year later. Luciana who was a performer and producer, was with Tony Athony from 1962 until 1970.
